Season 15/16 at Busby AFC

Welcome to the Busby Amateur Football Club website as we look ahead to the new season. If it is your first visit to our website please feel free to have a look around as we update the website for the season ahead and don't hesitate to contact us on our 'Get in Touch' page if you have any questions for us.

It feels like only yesterday the 2014/15 season was coming to an end and we could reflect on another great season for our club. Now we look ahead to the 2015/16 season. Pre-season training is already under-way for most of our squads, and many others will start back in the coming weeks. Below is information on our all teams here at Busby and some contact information if you are looking to get involved with a team. New players are always welcome and there's no better time to join than today!

Everyone at Busby AFC would like to welcome all our new members to the club and wish you good luck for the season ahead. And to all those players and parents returning for another season, welcome back!

- The Busby AFC Team

 Junior Section
Our junior section at Busby AFC consists of teams from the Under 6 to the Under 12 age groups. That's players born in 2004 to 2010. Within that our 2004 to 2009 age groups participate in the East Renfrewshire Soccer Development Association (ERSDA) Saturday morning league, with multiple teams at each age group. Following the SYFA Player Pathway the younger teams play 4 a-side, then at the age of 8 a keeper is added to make it 5-aside before moving on to 7-aside.

Our junior section continues to go from strength to strength and has become well known in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow for it's high standard of football. Tournaments in the local area and further afield give the Junior squads to a chance to compete with teams from all over the UK.

Training takes place at William Wood High School Clarkston and Pro Soccer Rouken Glen.

All boys & girls of any ability can join Busby AFC. You are welcome to come along and try it out for a few sessions!
My son/daughter wants to join, who do I contact?
